OK, so I only made two music-related memes this year, and here they are:
You would think that within this year of ennui hell (and, let's be honest, my year was better than very many others) I would have been compelled to spend more of my isolated time on making silly memes based on music. It didn't really work out like that. Especially when the protests picked up at the end of May. My meme production has focused more on life and the political, including the second meme here which is intended as a smart-assed comment meme when dealing with asshats online making incorrect assumptions and whatnot. Because the fight that used to exist within the anarcho-rocker depths of my soul has come back. The nihilist tendencies have been replaced with a bit of angry passion. This year changed a lot of people, probably everyone. I know it changed me.
But I've been thinking lately about how music is important too. It's been my lifeblood for literally all of my life. It even often works directly with the life/political. So there will likely be more of these memes coming in 2021 and maybe I'll bring back some of the more playful humor. There's also other projects I have which I want to bring to PoseurFeed. But I am a person of many hobbies. I'm not trying to take up new hobbies this year. I would prefer to be better focused on the ones I already have. We shall see how it all works out.
Either way, I don't expect 2021 to be better. I mean, I didn't start last year in a pandemic. Doomed from the get-go I say. Call it negativity but I call it realism. And, instead of worrying about what may happen within 365 days, I would rather focus on a better everything. Even if this year somehow becomes the worst year in the history of years, one can only do what one can do. So fuck it, I guess I'll do it. Ya hear me? I'll do it! Try me!
